Limited Availability for 2023-24 School Year
Shining Star Pre-School is a year-round school that teaches children from ages 2.5 to 5 years of age. Our school is partnered with the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) to offer classes to children 4 years of age, that will be attending kindergarten next school year.
We currently have availability in both our Shining Star classrooms, and the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) classrooms!

Full Day ​
Each day our Stars attend will be packed with fun, creative, structured activities that are designed around the five main development areas. Our Stars will be fed breakfast, lunch and snack (if they are present during meal times.*) We will have lessons focused on literacy and language, math, creative expression, physical development and wellness, writing, fine motor skills, and much more! If the weather is nice we will take the children outdoors to our fenced in yard to play. If the weather prevents us from our outdoor activities, we have a large gross motor room to run and play.
​Half Day​
Each day our stars will learn, create, and play in a safe environment. Our students will have an opportunity to play outside, unless the weather prevents us from doing so. If the weather prevents us from going outside we will get the chance to play in our gross motor room.
Currently, we are offering morning half-day sessions from 8am to 12pm. Stars that attend our morning sessions, and are present at meal times, will be provided breakfast and lunch.
GSRP
The Great Start Readiness Program is a free preschool program for student 4 years of age, that will be attending kindergarten the following school year. Shining Star Pre-School is partnered with GSRP to offer this opportunity to families!
